This is my 24th year in education. I have taught 2nd and 3rd grade and became an elementary librarian 3 years ago. I love books and reading to children and I believe what the Commission on Reading stated in their 1985 report Becoming A Nation of Readers, "The single most important activity for their eventual success in reading is reading aloud to children."
