After working professionally as a librarian in various types of libraries, I am recently retired after 30 years of service from Franklin County Public Schools. My ongoing mission is to connect children with great children's literature and to motivate them to become lifelong readers. I continue to teach Children's Literature (LIS 500) to el ed majors at UK. Besides KASL, I am active in the Kentucky Bluegrass Award & Battle of the Books and promote Lunch Bunch, Mock Newbery & Caldecott Clubs. I am on the Board of Trustees of the Scott County Public Library.
